《一頁臺北》裏，24小時的不眠書店正上演一頁青春浪漫的愛情劇碼，那是諸多旅人對於臺北的印象之一；另一端的條通巷弄，觥籌交錯中，男歡女愛的情節正熱烈上映，歡迎蒞臨臺北不夜城。你對臺北的想像是什麼？
來自巴黎的余白（HUBERT KILIAN），自1996年開始踏上攝影之路，熱愛拍照的他，堅持使用底片拍攝，紀錄生活，紀錄日常片段，用影像訴說著一座座城市與居住者之間的情感。2003年他正式移居臺灣，同時擔任記者一職，即開始走訪臺灣各地，同時也在這座島嶼，發現了其內心最深層的情感連結。
受到法國攝影師羅伯杜瓦諾（ROBERT DOISNEAU）黑白影像的影響，余白開啟以黑白鏡頭捕捉臺北氣息的攝影之旅，從初抵本地的疑惑、移民後的從零開始，透過走路拍照，「像個探險家那般探看我心靈的奧秘，使黑色臺北最底層為我指引方向的微光重新綻亮。」細細品味其作品，畫面中新舊交錯的街景，巷弄中的無名日常，頗有幾分蔡明亮影像裏，喧囂塵世裡的靜謐之味。目前已走遍臺灣各地的他，問及是否有較為中意的城市，他提及「嘉義」，不僅保有原有當地的文化地景，同時也受到外來文化的影響，新舊之間妥善平衡，市容樣貌非今昔臺南濃厚的商業化。
日前余白與慕舍酒店HOTEL MVSA合作，為酒店打造完整的藝術攝影空間，運用時間和城市視角，以系列作品連結各處空間，充分演繹慕舍酒店當代精緻的場景故事及氛圍。整體空間集結了余白於臺北生活的兩個系列：《臺北原味》及《臺北之胃》，以及專為慕舍酒店所拍攝的全新作品，自入口大廳、各客房樓層至B1米其林一星餐廳「MOLINO DE URDÁNIZ渥達尼斯磨坊」內，均能欣賞其細膩雋永的攝影作品，於此感知臺北之味，重新探索視覺感官與時光匯流的藝術生活。

In "First Page Taipei", a 24-hour sleepless bookstore is staging a romantic love story, which is one of the impressions many travelers have of Taipei; on the other hand, in the alleyways of Jantong, the love story of men and women is being hotly screened, welcome to the city that never sleeps. What is your imagination of Taipei?
Hubert Kilian, from Paris, started his photography journey in 1996. He is a passionate photographer and insists on using negatives to record life and everyday moments, using images to tell the emotions between a city and its inhabitants. In 2003, he officially moved to Taiwan and took up a job as a journalist. He began to travel around Taiwan and found his deepest emotional connection on this island.
Influenced by the black-and-white images of French photographer Robert Doisneau, Hubert embarked on a photographic journey to capture the atmosphere of Taipei through a black-and-white lens, taking pictures on foot, "like an explorer looking into the mysteries of my heart and soul, so that the shimmering light that guides me from the bottom of black Taipei will blossom again. "
When we look at his works, we can see that the intermingled old and new street scenes and the nameless daily life in the alleyways are quite similar to the quietness of the noisy world in Tsai Ming-Liang's images. He has traveled all over Taiwan, and when asked if there is a city he likes more, he mentioned Chiayi, which not only retains its original cultural landscape, but is also influenced by foreign cultures, with a good balance between the old and the new, and a city appearance that is not the commercialized Tainan of today.
Recently, Hubert collaborated with HOTEL MVSA to create a complete art photography space for the hotel, using time and city perspectives to link the various spaces with a series of works, fully interpreting the contemporary and exquisite scenes and atmosphere of Hotel MVSA. The whole space is a collection of two series of Hubert's life in Taipei: "The Original Taste of Taipei" and "The Stomach of Taipei" and exquisite scenes and atmosphere of Hotel MVSA. From the entrance lobby, each guest room floor to the B1 Michelin-starred restaurant "MOLINO DE URDÁNIZ", you can enjoy his delicate and timeless photography works, where you can feel the taste of Taipei and rediscover the visual senses and the art of living in a convergence of visual senses and time.
